Monica Tang
Senior Cello Instructor
Monica Tang is a collaborative pianist from Hong Kong, known for her refined musicality and expressive artistry. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Vocal Piano Accompaniment at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) with Prof. Justus Zeyen.
She has performed across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, collaborating with artists and ensembles such as the Thomas Circle Singers and the Hong Kong Bach Choir. As a répétiteur, she has worked with Musiktheater Bavaria, Berlin Opera Academy, Musica Viva, and Pro Arte Orchestra.
She holds a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of Maryland with Prof. Rita Sloan, and studied music at Örebro University (Sweden) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. As a recipient of the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme, she was honored with the title “Hong Kong Scholar.”
